About the Role

Our client is searching for a highly organized and efficient Remote Catering Logistics Coordinator to manage the intricate details of their catering delivery operations. Working remotely, you will be the crucial link between our culinary teams, delivery partners, and clients, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of all catering orders across various locations, including Edinburgh . Your primary focus will be on optimizing delivery routes, managing schedules, and resolving any logistical challenges to guarantee a seamless customer experience. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate all catering deliveries, ensuring timely arrival at client locations.
• Liaise with catering production teams to confirm order readiness and manage dispatch times effectively.
• Communicate delivery status and ETAs to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with third-party delivery services, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any logistical issues, such as traffic delays or incorrect orders, swiftly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, routes, and associated costs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar coordinating role, preferably within food service or catering.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders remotely.
