Remote Catering Operations Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Catering Operations Coordinator to manage and streamline catering services for events nationwide, supporting their Oxford -based operations. This is a fully remote, contractor position, ideal for an individual who excels at managing logistics, vendor relations, and operational efficiency from a distance. You will be the key point of contact for coordinating with a network of catering suppliers, ensuring seamless event execution, managing schedules, and maintaining quality standards across all engagements. This role requires excellent communication and project management skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate catering logistics for a portfolio of events, ensuring all client and event-specific requirements are met.
• Liaise with and manage relationships with a network of approved catering vendors, ensuring timely service delivery and adherence to standards.
• Oversee event schedules, including setup, service times, and breakdown, communicating effectively with all parties.
• Monitor vendor performance and provide feedback to maintain high service quality and client satisfaction.
• Assist in resolving any operational issues or client concerns that may arise during the planning or execution phases of an event.
• Maintain accurate records of event details, vendor agreements, and client communications using designated software.
