About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Remote Catering Operations Manager to remotely manage and streamline their catering operations across multiple sites. This role requires a proactive individual who can drive efficiency, maintain high standards of service, and manage supplier relationships from a home-based office. You will be instrumental in optimizing logistical processes, implementing best practices in food safety and service quality, and ensuring the smooth running of all catering provisions nationwide, all while working independently and effectively in a remote setting, contributing significantly to the company's strategic goals in operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance catering service efficiency and quality nationwide.
• Manage and oversee remote catering teams and operations, ensuring adherence to company standards and client expectations.
• Conduct regular virtual performance reviews and provide guidance to on-site catering supervisors.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with food suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing and quality.
• Implement and monitor compliance with food safety regulations and company policies across all locations.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the catering or hospitality industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams and operations effectively.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and supply chain management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools and management software.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
