Remote Catering Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Remote Catering Project Manager to oversee the successful planning and execution of complex catering projects. This role is critical for managing client expectations, coordinating with diverse teams (culinary, logistics, sales), and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, all managed remotely. You will be responsible for defining project scope, developing detailed plans, managing risks, and communicating effectively with all stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of catering projects , from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams (sales, culinary, operations) and external vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project status, updates, and any emergent issues.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues that may impact project success.
• Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for process improvement in remote project execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager , ideally with a background in catering, hospitality, or events.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage remote teams effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently.
• Experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
