Remote Chemical Engineer - Process Development

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization and development of new chemical processes, from bench-scale to pilot plant design.
• Conduct extensive literature reviews and experimental designs to validate process concepts.
• Utilize process simulation software to model and optimize process parameters for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, proposals, and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate effectively with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams across different time zones.
• Ensure all developed processes meet stringent safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in chemical process development and scale-up.
• Proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
• Demonstrated experience in managing R&D projects and interpreting experimental data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics , reaction kinetics, and separation processes.
