Remote Chemical Process Development Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Remote Chemical Process Development Engineer to join their innovative team. This role is fully remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere while focusing on advancing our client's process technologies. You will be responsible for the development and scale-up of novel chemical processes, from laboratory conceptualization through to pilot plant validation. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of new chemical synthesis routes and process optimization strategies.
• Design and execute experiments in laboratory and pilot-scale settings to validate process parameters.
• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and generate comprehensive technical reports.
• Utilize process modeling and simulation tools to predict performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines during process development.
• Collaborate virtually with internal teams, including R&D chemists, engineers, and external partners, to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in process development and scale-up of chemical processes.
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment, analytical techniques, and data analysis software.
• Strong understanding of chemical reaction engineering and process safety management .
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
