Our client is looking for a skilled Remote Chemical Process Development Specialist to join their innovative R&D department. Working entirely from your home office, you will focus on the research, design, and optimization of novel chemical processes. Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop new chemical processes, focusing on feasibility, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and pilot studies to validate process designs and parameters.
- Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Utilize process simulation software to model and optimize potential process routes.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, research findings, and patent disclosures.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote setting, ensuring seamless project progression.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in chemical process development and research.
- Strong background in experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Proficiency with process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, Chemcad).
- Experience with various unit operations and chemical reaction engineering principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
