Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for scaling up chemical processes from lab/pilot to full commercial production.
• Identify and address potential challenges in mass transfer, heat transfer, mixing, and reaction kinetics during scale-up.
• Design and specify pilot plant equipment and procedures to validate process parameters.
• Collaborate virtually with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless technology transfer.
• Conduct process simulations and risk assessments to anticipate and mitigate scale-up issues.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including scale-up reports and operational guidelines.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in chemical process engineering, with a strong emphasis on process scale-up .
• Demonstrated success in scaling up complex chemical processes.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a systematic approach to technical challenges.
• Strong remote collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively independently.
