Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of novel chemical processes and equipment, ensuring scalability and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct rigorous process simulations, data analysis, and experimental validation to optimise existing operations.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including P&IDs, PFDs, equipment specifications, and operational manuals.
- Champion adherence to all safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control protocols across all process stages.
- Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing issues, collaborating virtually with plant personnel.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative process improvements.
Requirements
- A degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline is essential.
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in process design and development within the chemical or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Demonstrated experience with process simulation software and advanced analytical techniques.
- Proficiency in project management and coordinating cross-functional, remote teams.
- Strong understanding of process safety management (PSM) principles and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information remotely.
