Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance, primarily through virtual collaboration.
- Utilize process simulation software and data analysis tools to model, evaluate, and improve existing or new process designs.
- Prepare technical documentation, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, and operational manuals, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborate effectively with on-site engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders through digital communication channels to ensure project success.
- Conduct virtual risk assessments and safety reviews, contributing to the development of robust safety management systems.
- Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting assistance to manufacturing sites as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Proven experience (4+ years) in chemical process design, scale-up, or optimization within an industrial setting.
- Strong proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, Chemcad) and advanced data analysis techniques.
- Excellent ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain high productivity in a remote work setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience using virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Slack).
- Solid understanding of chemical engineering principles, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
