About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled and self-motivated Remote Chemical Process Engineer to join their globally distributed team. This position focuses on providing expert technical support and process optimization services to various manufacturing sites, entirely from a remote location. You will leverage advanced simulation tools and data analytics to enhance process efficiency, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives without needing to be physically present at a specific site. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in an independent work environment and excels at virtual collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical expertise and troubleshooting support for chemical manufacturing processes at various client sites.
- Develop and utilize process simulation models to analyze, optimize, and improve plant operations, energy efficiency, and yield.
- Analyze operational data to identify root causes of issues and recommend data-driven solutions for process enhancements.
- Collaborate with on-site engineering and operations teams through virtual channels, including video conferencing and shared digital platforms.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, process recommendations, and best practice guidelines for dissemination to plant personnel.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in chemical process engineering to drive innovation remotely.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering .
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical process design, optimization, and operational support.
- Strong proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, CHEMCAD) and data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and independently in a remote setting, with excellent time management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience with virtual collaboration tools and platforms is essential.
