About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Chemical Process Engineer to join their innovative team. Key Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, and optimize chemical processes using advanced software tools.
- Develop detailed process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex process issues to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
- Ensure all process designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, R&D teams, and other stakeholders through virtual communication channels.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and present findings and recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in chemical process design and operation.
- Proficiency in process simulation software such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or similar.
- Demonstrated understanding of process safety management (PSM) principles and risk assessments.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for virtual collaboration.
