Remote Chemical Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot chemical processes, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to stringent safety standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies, process simulations, and economic evaluations for new projects and modifications.
• Develop P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and equipment specifications for process implementation.
• Provide technical support and remote assistance to plant operations and engineering teams worldwide.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in chemical engineering and propose innovative solutions.
• Participate in safety reviews and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in process engineering, design, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience with process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS, Aspen Plus) and P&ID development.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and provide technical leadership remotely.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting .
