Remote Chemical Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client, a global leader in sustainable chemical solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Chemical Process Engineer to join their distributed engineering team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and optimization of chemical processes for various industrial applications, all conducted remotely.
• Conduct detailed process simulations and analyses to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reduction.
• Provide remote technical support and guidance to manufacturing sites, troubleshooting process issues as they arise.
• Develop and implement process safety management (PSM) protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and safety regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with global cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and project management, via digital communication channels.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in chemical engineering to propose innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering .
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in chemical process engineering , with a strong focus on design and optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote work environment .
• Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, CHEMCAD) and data analysis tools .
• Strong understanding of process safety, HAZOP studies, and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to work in a virtual team setting.
