Remote Chemical Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct process simulations and modeling to identify optimization opportunities.
• Analyze operational data to troubleshoot issues, improve yields, and reduce energy consumption.
• Develop and document process improvements, P&IDs, and operating procedures.
• Provide remote technical support to plant operations teams.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies for process enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations from a remote capacity.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical process engineering, including process simulation and data analysis.
• Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and data analysis tools.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
