About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Remote Chemical Process Optimization Specialist to join their global operations team. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who can remotely analyze, troubleshoot, and improve chemical manufacturing processes across various sites, driving efficiency, yield, and sustainability. You will leverage your deep understanding of chemical engineering principles and advanced data analytics to provide expert guidance and implement best practices, working independently and collaborating with site-based teams via virtual platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex chemical process data from multiple global sites to identify areas for performance improvement.
• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize process parameters, increase yields, and reduce operational costs.
• Conduct virtual troubleshooting sessions with site operations and engineering teams to resolve complex process challenges.
• Design and propose process modifications, evaluating their impact on efficiency, safety, and environmental performance.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in process optimization and data analytics.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining findings, recommendations, and project outcomes for stakeholders worldwide.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on optimization and troubleshooting in the chemical industry.
• Proven expertise in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus) and advanced data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage projects remotely.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and machine learning applications in process optimization is highly desirable for this remote role.
