Remote Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial operations on a fully remote basis. As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for the company's financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and investor relations. You will play a crucial role in driving the company's financial strategy, ensuring long-term stability and growth. This is a senior leadership position for an experienced finance executive who thrives in a remote environment and is adept at guiding financial performance and strategy for a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop and execute the company's financial strategy to support long-term growth and profitability.
• Manage capital structure, including fundraising activities, debt financing, and equity offerings.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and Board of Directors.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, with at least 3 years as a CFO or VP of Finance.
• Proven track record in strategic financial planning, corporate finance, and capital markets.
• Extensive experience with financial modeling, M&A, and fundraising.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, adapted for a remote work setting.
