About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Remote Childcare Policy Advisor to join their team and contribute to shaping standards across the sector. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be instrumental in researching, developing, and advising on childcare policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, including the EYFS framework . The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the childcare landscape, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex policy information into clear, actionable guidance for various stakeholders through virtual communication channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyze current childcare legislation, policies, and best practices.
- Develop and draft new policies and guidance documents related to childcare provision.
- Advise internal teams and external clients on policy interpretation and implementation.
- Monitor changes in government regulations and their impact on the childcare sector.
- Contribute to policy consultation responses and engage with relevant stakeholders virtually.
- Ensure all policies are aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements and other relevant standards.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in policy development or advisory roles within the childcare sector or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of UK childcare law, regulations, and the EYFS framework .
- Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
- Experience with policy analysis and a track record of influencing policy development is highly desirable.
