About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and organised Remote Childminder Support Officer to provide guidance and assistance to registered childminders across the region. This role is crucial in ensuring childminders have the necessary resources, training, and support to provide outstanding childcare, all managed through virtual channels. You will be responsible for offering advice on best practices, regulatory compliance, and professional development, contributing significantly to the quality of early years care delivered remotely. Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote support and guidance to registered childminders on Ofsted requirements and best practices.
• Assist childminders in developing their business plans and marketing strategies virtually.
• Organise and deliver online training sessions and workshops for childminders.
• Respond to queries and concerns from childminders via phone, email, and video conferencing.
• Maintain accurate records of childminder registrations, inspections, and support provided.
• Promote professional development and networking opportunities among childminders.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a childcare setting, ideally with knowledge of childminding regulations.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills for remote working.
• Ability to provide clear, concise, and supportive advice.
• Experience in training or mentoring would be advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote role based near Norwich .
