Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive remote support and guidance to registered childminders via phone, email, and video conferencing.
• Assist childminders with understanding and adhering to regulatory frameworks, including safeguarding and welfare requirements.
• Offer advice on curriculum planning, activity development, and positive behaviour management strategies.
• Help childminders to troubleshoot operational challenges and identify opportunities for professional growth.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions and provide feedback to management on common issues and trends.
• Facilitate virtual workshops or information sessions for childminders to share best practices and updates.

Requirements

• A minimum of Level 3 qualification in a relevant childcare field (e.g., CACHE, NVQ).
• Significant experience working directly as a childminder or in a supervisory/support role within an early years setting.
• In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and UK childcare regulations.
• Excellent communication, listening, and problem-solving skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
• Proficiency in using remote working tools such as video conferencing software, email, and CRM systems.
