About the Role
Our client is recruiting for a dedicated Civil Design Engineer with a focus on utility infrastructure to join their established, fully remote team. This role involves the design, planning, and coordination of essential utility services, including water, sewerage, and gas networks, for new developments. You will collaborate closely with a distributed team of engineers and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of utility systems. Key Responsibilities
- Design and detail utility networks, including water supply, foul and surface water drainage, and gas infrastructure.
- Prepare comprehensive design reports, drawings, and specifications for utility services.
- Coordinate with utility providers and regulatory authorities to obtain necessary approvals.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new utility connections and extensions.
- Ensure designs comply with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and environmental requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in the design of utility infrastructure.
- Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD and hydraulic modelling tools.
- Proven ability to manage workload and deliver projects effectively in a remote setting.
