Remote Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Projects

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake the design, analysis, and specification of civil infrastructure elements, including earthworks, drainage, and highway design, remotely.

• Utilise advanced engineering software for modelling, simulation, and design validation in a home-based environment.
• Ensure all designs adhere to current UK building regulations, environmental policies, and health & safety standards.

• Provide technical guidance and support to remote project teams as needed.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design, with a strong emphasis on project delivery.
• Proficiency with industry-standard civil engineering software packages such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, or similar.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing detailed design drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective remote collaboration.
