Remote Civil Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Remote Civil Engineer to contribute to their diverse range of infrastructure projects. Working from home, you will play a key role in the design, planning, and management of civil engineering works, collaborating with project teams across the country. This position requires a strong technical background in civil engineering principles, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, drainage, and structural elements.
• Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and specifications using relevant engineering software.
• Conduct site assessments remotely where possible, or collaborate with on-site personnel for data collection.
• Analyze survey reports, mapping data, and test results to plan projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent professional chartership is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in civil engineering design and project support.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other relevant engineering tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for remote work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
