About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed design work for civil engineering projects, including drainage, earthworks, and structural elements.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and drawings using relevant design software.
• Collaborate remotely with project managers, architects, and other disciplines to integrate designs seamlessly.
• Ensure designs comply with all relevant national standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Conduct site visits and surveys as required, potentially involving occasional travel.
• Review and approve technical submittals and respond to design queries from construction teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in civil engineering design , with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage).
• Excellent understanding of UK building codes and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
