Remote Civil Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned Remote Civil Project Manager to lead and oversee a portfolio of diverse civil engineering projects from inception to completion. This fully remote position requires exceptional organizational skills, a strong understanding of project management methodologies, and a proven track record in delivering civil infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for managing project scope, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communication, working with teams across different locations. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
• Develop detailed project plans, establish milestones, and monitor progress against established timelines.
• Control project budgets, manage costs, and ensure financial objectives are met.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure effective collaboration.
• Oversee risk management, identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; PMP certification is a significant advantage.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management within the civil engineering sector.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex infrastructure projects from start to finish.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with experience managing remote teams .
• Strong understanding of contract administration and procurement processes.
