Remote Claims Investigator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a thorough and investigative Claims Investigator to join their fully remote team. This role is responsible for conducting detailed investigations into potentially fraudulent or complex insurance claims, gathering evidence, and providing comprehensive reports to support decision-making. You will work independently, managing your caseload and utilizing various investigative techniques to uncover the facts. This fully remote position allows you to leverage your investigative skills from the comfort of your home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into suspicious or complex insurance claims across various lines of business.
• Gather and analyze evidence, including witness statements, documentary evidence, and site visits where necessary.
• Prepare detailed, objective, and evidence-based reports outlining findings and recommendations.
• Liaise with internal claims handlers, legal teams, and external stakeholders as required.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of all investigative activities and findings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in claims investigation , fraud detection, or a related investigative field, preferably within the insurance sector.
• Excellent interviewing, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of investigative techniques and evidence-gathering protocols.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload effectively in a remote setting .
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
