About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting a Remote Cleaning & Sanitation Specialist to contribute to the operational excellence of their virtual facilities and client support services, based in Leeds but working remotely. This unique role focuses on developing and disseminating best practices for hygiene and sanitation across remote teams and client onboarding materials, rather than direct physical cleaning. You will leverage your expertise to create educational content, advise on sanitation protocols for shared resources, and support the virtual operational management of our client's distributed workforce. This is an opportunity to shape hygiene standards from a strategic, remote-first perspective.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and update comprehensive cleaning and sanitation protocols for remote work environments.
• Create engaging training materials and guides on hygiene best practices for distributed teams.
• Advise on the selection and use of cleaning supplies and equipment for home offices and shared remote workspaces.
• Collaborate with HR and Operations teams to integrate sanitation guidelines into company policies.
• Analyze feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve remote hygiene standards.
• Conduct virtual assessments or audits to ensure adherence to established sanitation guidelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities management, cleaning supervision, or a related hygiene field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear instructional content.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Proficiency in using digital collaboration tools and creating presentations.
