About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Remote Cleaning & Sanitation Supervisor to oversee their hygiene operations across various facilities. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive cleaning and sanitation protocols to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage and guide teams virtually, fostering a culture of excellence and compliance. You will play a crucial part in maintaining a healthy and safe environment for all stakeholders, working remotely from Leicester and its surrounding areas, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed cleaning and sanitation schedules and procedures for diverse environments.
• Conduct regular virtual inspections and audits to ensure compliance with hygiene standards and company policies.
• Train and supervise cleaning staff remotely, providing clear guidance and feedback on performance.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effectiveness.
• Investigate and resolve any sanitation-related issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and relevant health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or sanitation industry.
• Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, sanitation principles, and health and safety regulations (e.g., COSHH).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks remotely.
• Proficiency in using digital communication tools and management software for remote team oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team virtually.
• Relevant certifications in hygiene or sanitation are a plus.
