Remote Cleaning Compliance Officer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organised Remote Cleaning Compliance Officer to oversee and ensure adherence to cleaning standards across multiple sites, primarily working from home. This crucial role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring cleaning protocols and schedules, conducting virtual site assessments, and providing guidance to on-site cleaning teams. You will be instrumental in maintaining high levels of hygiene and safety across the organisation's facilities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of cleaning best practices, operating effectively in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update cleaning procedures and schedules to ensure optimal hygiene standards.
• Conduct remote audits and assessments of cleaning performance using video conferencing and submitted reports.
• Provide training and guidance to on-site cleaning staff via virtual platforms, addressing concerns and offering solutions.
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and recommend procurement strategies to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Analyse cleaning performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and compliance issues.
• Liaise with site managers to address any cleaning-related issues and ensure prompt resolution.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a cleaning management, compliance, or supervisory role, preferably with remote oversight.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, equipment, and health & safety regulations (e.g., COSHH).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective virtual collaboration.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for reporting, data analysis, and virtual communication.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
