Remote Commercial Property Surveyor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and independent Remote Commercial Property Surveyor to join their expanding national team, based remotely from Belfast . This role involves providing expert advice on a range of commercial properties, including valuations, leasehold enfranchisement, and dilapidations across the UK. You will work autonomously, managing your caseload and delivering precise, professional reports to a diverse client base. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive surveys and inspections of commercial properties, both in person (where necessary) and remotely where feasible.
• Prepare detailed valuation reports, RICS Red Book compliant, for various purposes including asset management, acquisitions, and disposals.
• Advise clients on leasehold matters, including rent reviews, lease renewals, and dilapidations claims.
• Manage project timelines and client expectations effectively, ensuring timely delivery of reports.
• Utilize technology and digital tools to enhance survey accuracy and reporting efficiency.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, legislation, and best practices in commercial property surveying.

Requirements

• Full RICS qualification (MRICS or FRICS) with post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience in commercial property valuation and survey work.
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload effectively.
• Proficiency in relevant surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of the UK commercial property market and associated regulations.
