About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Community Outreach Coordinator to join their team on a fully remote basis, serving the Birmingham area and surrounding regions. In this vital role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with community groups, beneficiaries, and volunteers, extending the reach and impact of our client's charitable initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective community outreach strategies to raise awareness of the organisation's services and needs.
• Identify and engage with potential community partners, stakeholders, and volunteer groups.
• Organise and coordinate virtual and, where appropriate, in-person outreach events and activities.
• Manage and maintain databases of community contacts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Communicate regularly with community members, providing information and support.
• Gather feedback from the community to inform program development and service delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in community outreach, engagement, or a related field, preferably within the Charity & Voluntary sector .
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with virtual communication tools and platforms.
