About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Remote Community Outreach Specialist to join their Community & Social Care team. This position is entirely remote, allowing you to connect with and support communities across the country from your home office. Your primary focus will be identifying community needs, raising awareness of available services, and building strong relationships with local organisations and individuals. This role requires excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to engagement in a virtual landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement remote outreach strategies to engage diverse community groups.
• Identify community needs and gaps in service provision through online research and communication.
• Build and maintain relationships with local charities, community leaders, and key stakeholders.
• Promote the client's services and programmes through digital channels, webinars, and virtual events.
• Provide information and guidance to individuals seeking support via remote communication methods.
• Track outreach activities and report on engagement metrics and outcomes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in community outreach, engagement, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with social care principles and the challenges faced by various communities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in digital communication platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively from a remote location.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for tracking outreach efforts.
• Proficiency in using online collaboration tools and social media for engagement.
