About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and diligent Remote Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and internal policies. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere within the UK, contributing to the integrity and reputation of our client's operations. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, mitigating risks, and fostering a culture of ethical conduct throughout the organisation. This role is critical in safeguarding the company against regulatory breaches and reputational damage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments across all business units.
• Investigate potential compliance breaches and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Stay abreast of evolving financial regulations and ensure timely updates to internal controls.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (4+ years) in a compliance, legal, or risk management role within the financial services industry.
• In-depth knowledge of UK and relevant international financial regulations (e.g., FCA, AML, GDPR).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working effectively in a remote or distributed team environment.
