Remote Construction Estimator

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Remote Construction Estimator to provide accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of construction projects. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from home while supporting projects across the UK. You will be responsible for analysing project plans, identifying labour and material costs, and preparing detailed tender submissions. Key Responsibilities

• Analyse tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate estimates.
• Quantify materials, labour, and plant requirements for construction projects.
• Obtain and review quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and tender submissions.
• Identify potential cost risks and opportunities.
• Liaise with project managers and clients to clarify project requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
