About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and motivated Remote Construction Project Coordinator to support their projects, with a focus on operations supporting the Cambridge region. This role is entirely remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while providing essential administrative and logistical support to project managers and site teams. You will be instrumental in ensuring smooth project execution by managing documentation, coordinating communications, tracking progress, and facilitating the flow of information between all parties involved. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to project managers, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing project documentation.
- Coordinate communication between project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, ensuring timely dissemination of information.
- Track project progress, update project management software, and assist in preparing status reports and presentations.
- Manage and organize project-related documents, including contracts, permits, drawings, and correspondence, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.
- Assist with procurement processes, including sourcing vendors, obtaining quotes, and processing purchase orders.
- Facilitate the resolution of administrative issues and support project managers in day-to-day operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in project coordination, administration, or a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., Procore, Asana, Microsoft Project) and standard office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and manage a remote workload efficiently.
