Remote Construction Project Planner

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Construction Project Planner to join their expanding operations. Working entirely from home, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating detailed project schedules for a variety of construction projects across the UK. You will collaborate virtually with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to ensure accurate planning, resource allocation, and timely delivery. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned planner who thrives in a remote setting and excels at managing complex timelines from a distance, ensuring seamless execution of construction activities nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
• Monitor project progress, identify critical path activities, and forecast potential delays.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and site teams via virtual channels to gather updates and refine schedules.
• Analyze project data to identify risks and opportunities related to the schedule.
• Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain resource loaded schedules and look-ahead plans.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Planner or Scheduler, with a strong portfolio of successfully planned projects.
• Proficiency in project planning software such as Primavera P6 , Microsoft Project, or Asta PowerProject.
• Excellent understanding of construction processes and sequencing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to think critically about project timelines.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote-first environment.
