About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Remote Curriculum Developer specializing in Digital Learning to join their innovative education technology team. This fully remote position involves designing, developing, and implementing engaging online courses and educational content for a diverse range of learners. You will work collaboratively with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and multimedia specialists to create high-impact learning experiences that meet modern educational standards and learner needs. This role is crucial for expanding our client's digital learning offerings and ensuring the delivery of effective, accessible, and engaging online education. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pedagogical principles for online environments and a proven track record in developing digital curricula from conception to completion, all managed within a completely remote operational framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive online course content, including lesson plans, learning modules, assessments, and interactive activities.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, engaging, and accessible digital learning materials.
- Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create effective and learner-centred online experiences.
- Utilize various digital tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to build and publish online courses.
- Evaluate and revise existing digital curricula to ensure alignment with learning objectives and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Curriculum Developer, Instructional Designer, or similar role with a focus on digital learning.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and e-learning best practices.
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
