Remote Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for an insightful Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join their fully remote security operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and disseminating actionable threat intelligence to protect the organisation from sophisticated cyber adversaries. You will leverage a variety of sources and tools to identify emerging threats, track threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and provide strategic context to inform defensive measures. This is an excellent opportunity for an analyst to contribute to a remote-first security program, playing a key part in proactive defence and threat mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and synthesize threat intelligence from diverse sources (open-source, commercial feeds, government agencies).
• Identify and track threat actors, their motivations, capabilities, and TTPs relevant to the organisation.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports, briefings, and alerts for various audiences.
• Develop and maintain intelligence requirements and collection plans.
• Integrate threat intelligence into security tools and operational processes.
• Provide strategic insights to leadership to inform risk-based decision-making.
• Conduct malware analysis and reverse engineering when necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cyber threat intelligence analysis or a related security intelligence role.
• Strong understanding of global threat landscapes, malware, TTPs, and attack methodologies.
• Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms and tools.
• Experience in data analysis and research, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
