Remote Data Analyst - Geological Data

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize large volumes of geological data from various sources.
• Perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key geological metrics and findings.
• Collaborate with geologists and engineers to understand data requirements and provide analytical support.
• Automate data processing and reporting tasks where possible using scripting or specialized tools.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Geology, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with exposure to geological or earth science data.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, or SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and data modeling techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
