In this crucial role, you will be the central point of contact, ensuring efficient dispatch, route planning, and driver support across various operational areas. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily delivery routes for a fleet of drivers, ensuring optimal efficiency and timely deliveries.
• Monitor driver activities and delivery progress using real-time tracking software, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, addressing operational queries, providing support, and resolving issues remotely.
• Analyse delivery data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in routing and logistics.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driver performance, and operational costs.
• Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction regarding deliveries.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics, dispatch, or fleet management, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Proficiency with route optimisation software and GPS tracking systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a team remotely.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with the challenges of managing drivers and deliveries in a UK context.
