About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and results-driven Remote Delivery Operations Manager to lead their expanding delivery network. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of delivery operations, including driver management, route optimization, and ensuring customer satisfaction, all managed from a fully remote capacity. You will be responsible for developing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall performance of the delivery fleet. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery routes and schedules for maximum efficiency.
- Manage and mentor a team of remote drivers and dispatchers, ensuring high performance and compliance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for delivery operations and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies across all delivery activities.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and sales, to align delivery operations with business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics and operations management , with a focus on delivery services.
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs in a delivery environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and related software.
