About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and organized Remote Delivery Operations Specialist to manage and optimize delivery processes from a remote location. This role will involve coordinating with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery operations across various regions. You will be responsible for monitoring delivery performance, resolving issues remotely, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, highly analytical, and adept at managing complex logistics challenges without being physically present at operational sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time delivery operations using logistics software and tracking systems.
- Act as a primary point of contact for drivers experiencing issues on their routes, providing remote support and solutions.
- Communicate with customers to provide delivery updates and address any concerns or inquiries.
- Analyze delivery performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with regional operations teams to implement best practices and ensure service level agreements are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience in logistics coordination, dispatch, or a similar operational support role.
- Strong proficiency with logistics management software, GPS tracking systems, and communication platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport remotely.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setup.
