Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and validate sophisticated diagnostic software and algorithms for automotive control units.
• Analyze vehicle data logs and diagnostic trouble codes to identify root causes of complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with hardware and software development teams to integrate and optimize diagnostic capabilities.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals and troubleshooting guides for diagnostic tools.
• Provide remote technical support to internal teams and external partners, resolving escalated issues efficiently.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of diagnostic methodologies and the adoption of new technologies within the engineering department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, with a strong understanding of vehicle communication protocols (e.g., CAN, UDS, J1939).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or similar, for diagnostic tool development and scripting.
• Experience with diagnostic hardware and software tools, including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
