About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and communicative Remote Dispatch and Coordination Specialist to join their logistics team, working entirely from home. Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers to assigned routes and monitor their progress throughout the day using tracking software.
• Coordinate with drivers to manage schedules, address route changes, and resolve any on-road issues.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status, updates, and any potential delays.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, delivery records, and update the transportation management system (TMS).
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges swiftly to minimize disruption to service.
• Ensure all dispatched activities comply with company policies and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or a similar operational role.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) or dispatch software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in using remote communication tools (email, chat, video conferencing).
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
