About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and experienced Remote Dispatch & Fleet Operations Manager to oversee their transportation logistics and fleet management from a home-based position, supporting operations near Oxford . This role is critical for ensuring the efficiency, safety, and compliance of the entire fleet. You will be responsible for dispatching drivers, optimizing routes, managing vehicle maintenance schedules, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to all legal and company regulations, all while working remotely. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dispatch operations, assigning routes and loads to drivers.
• Utilize fleet management software to monitor vehicle location, performance, and driver activity.
• Develop and implement strategies for route optimization and fuel efficiency.
• Manage the fleet's maintenance schedule, ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant.
• Ensure strict adherence to driving hour regulations (WTD) and other transport legislation.
• Liaise with clients, drivers, and internal departments to resolve operational issues promptly.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in logistics, transport management, or fleet operations.
• Proven ability to manage a team and operations remotely.
• Strong understanding of dispatch systems, route planning software, and fleet management technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of transport regulations, including driver hours and vehicle compliance.
