About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Remote Dispatch Manager to lead their dispatch operations from a remote location. This strategic role will oversee the coordination of all driver activities, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of services across Northern Ireland and beyond. You will be responsible for managing a team of dispatchers and drivers, optimizing routes, and implementing best practices in logistics management. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the daily activities of the dispatch team to ensure efficient delivery operations.
• Develop, implement, and enforce dispatch and delivery policies and procedures.
• Optimize routing and scheduling to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Monitor driver performance, provide feedback, and address any operational issues remotely.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Utilize dispatch software and technology to track shipments and manage fleet activities.

Requirements

• Significant experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation management, preferably with remote team leadership.
• Strong understanding of route optimization and fleet management principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using dispatch and CRM software.
• Ability to work flexible hours and manage effectively in a remote setting.
• Knowledge of the transport network in Northern Ireland is beneficial.
