Remote Early Years Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Remote Early Years Consultant to provide expert guidance and support to childcare providers nationwide. This role involves advising on curriculum development, regulatory compliance, best practices in early childhood education, and staff training, all delivered virtually. You will leverage your deep understanding of early years frameworks and pedagogical approaches to help organisations enhance their service offerings and achieve outstanding outcomes for children. This is a fully remote position offering flexibility and the opportunity to impact numerous childcare settings from your home base, ideally located within commuting distance of Derby for occasional team meetings if required, though primarily remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation on early years curriculum design and implementation.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and best practices in childcare settings.
• Develop and deliver virtual training programs for early years staff and management.
• Conduct virtual assessments of existing childcare programs and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
• Support clients in achieving higher standards of care and educational provision.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of national and international early years research and policy changes.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Early Childhood Education, Pedagogy, or a related field.
• Significant experience (7+ years) in early years leadership, consultancy, or policy development.
• Proven expertise in various early years frameworks and assessment methodologies.
• Excellent virtual communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
