Our client is seeking a dedicated Remote Electrical Systems Engineer to join their innovative product development team, based remotely in or near Sunderland, Tyne and Wear . This role is crucial for the design, integration, and testing of sophisticated electrical systems for our next generation of smart devices. You will collaborate with a globally distributed team of engineers and product designers to bring groundbreaking technologies to life. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and document electrical subsystems and components for new products.
- Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to ensure system performance, reliability, and safety.
- Collaborate remotely with hardware and software engineers on system integration and testing.
- Develop and execute test plans for electrical systems, analyzing results and implementing improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues encountered during product development and testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies for electrical systems .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical hardware design and system integration.
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence).
- Experience with simulation tools for circuit analysis and signal integrity.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and power management.
- Excellent communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
