Remote Employee Relations Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and empathetic Remote Employee Relations Specialist to provide crucial support to their workforce across the UK. This role is responsible for managing and resolving employee relations issues fairly and effectively, ensuring compliance with employment law and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. You will act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, offering guidance on HR policies and procedures from a remote perspective. This is an ideal position for a skilled ER professional who excels in communication and conflict resolution within a distributed work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and other workplace conflicts.
• Provide expert advice and coaching to managers on employee relations matters.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
• Stay up-to-date with UK employment law changes and advise on compliance requirements.
• Conduct thorough and objective investigations, documenting findings and recommending appropriate actions.
• Develop and deliver training to managers on employee relations best practices.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in Employee Relations .
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and best practices for managing workplace issues.
• Proven ability to conduct sensitive investigations and manage complex ER cases.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage workload effectively in a remote setting.
• Experience with HRIS and case management tools is beneficial.
