About the Role

This fully remote position involves building vibrant communities around competitive gaming titles, fostering positive player interactions, and acting as the key liaison between players and the development team. You will be instrumental in shaping the player experience, driving engagement, and ensuring the continued success of our client's esports initiatives from anywhere in the world. The ideal candidate lives and breathes esports and understands the dynamics of online gaming communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute community engagement strategies across various online platforms (e.g., Discord, Reddit, social media).
• Organize and manage online esports tournaments, events, and community-building activities.
• Act as a moderator and facilitator, ensuring a positive, inclusive, and respectful community environment.
• Gather player feedback, identify trends, and communicate insights to the product and development teams.
• Create engaging content (e.g., announcements, updates, player spotlights) tailored to the esports community.
• Monitor community sentiment and proactively address issues and concerns to maintain player satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Community Manager, preferably within the esports or gaming industry.
• Deep understanding of competitive gaming, esports ecosystems, and popular game titles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse online audiences.
• Experience with community management tools and social media platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
